Resin figure – detailed, unpainted, and 3D printed with supports still attached
This figure represents a Finnish soldier of the Winter War (1939–1940), equipped in the now-famous “Model Cajander” gear. Named after Prime Minister Aimo Cajander, this minimalist kit was issued to many soldiers at the outbreak of war: just a cockade, and a leather belt. Winter clothing was often civilian – brought from home.
Despite the lack of proper military gear, Finnish soldiers fought with remarkable courage and resourcefulness. They adapted to the harsh winter terrain and developed improvised anti-tank tactics. One such method was jamming a log between the treads of advancing enemy tanks – a dangerous but effective way to bring even Soviet armor to a halt.
This model includes:
✅ 1 resin figure in 1/16 scale (colours may vary)
✅ Authentic “Model Cajander” outfit: civilian winterwear, belt, cockade
✅ Holding a log – representing improvised anti-tank defense
✅ 3D printed with supports still attached – ideal for hobbyists who enjoy prepping and painting
A tribute to Finnish ingenuity and bravery, this figure captures a unique moment in military history – where determination stood in place of equipment.
